the rider is an Athlete.
Every rider has unique movement patterns that influence their position, stability, and communication in the saddle. At Evolve Equine, we combine evidence-based movement science with a deep understanding of equestrian sport — identifying physical limitations and building targeted solutions that translate into better riding performance and long-term rider health.

ways you can
Evolve
You, the rider, will always start with a comprehensive assessment. From there, we determine the direction of your personalised off-horse programme around your discipline and goals.
horse welfare
starts with the rider
We believe that a fit and balanced rider is an essential component of every great horse-rider partnership.
Too often, equestrian care focuses solely on the horse, while the rider trains through pain, ignores imbalance, or overlooks their own athletic needs.
Our approach aims to shift that focus, emphasising that when riders invest in their own fitness, recovery, and wellbeing, both horse and rider benefit.

hey, i'm Tayla!
I help riders become stronger, more balanced, and more effective athletes. Every rider moves differently. Whether you are recovering from injury, chasing competition goals, or building lasting rider health, I’m here to make sure your body works with your horse — not against it.

01
The rider is half the partnership
Equestrian care too often focuses solely on the horse, while the rider trains through pain, ignores imbalance, or overlooks their own athletic needs. We work on the assumption that a fit, balanced rider is an essential component of every great horse-rider partnership — and that when you invest in your own fitness, recovery, and wellbeing, both of you benefit.
02
Assessment before prescription
We never prescribe blind. Every rider starts with a full assessment — off-horse, or both on and off-horse — to identify the asymmetries, weaknesses, and movement limitations actually affecting you in the saddle. What we find determines what we build
03
Root causes, not quick fixes
No generic programmes, no shortcuts. We're interested in understanding your body and addressing the cause of a problem rather than managing its symptoms, building strength that holds up over the long term.
04
Evidence-based, healthcare-first
Every method and recommendation is guided by clinical evidence and current research in exercise science. As a qualified health professional, credibility, ethical responsibility, and clinical integrity sit at the core of everything we do — so what you're given is safe, effective, and scientifically sound.
05
Practical and built to fit your life
Rider-specific training should be accessible to every equestrian, regardless of discipline, level, or location. Programmes are time-efficient, require minimal equipment, and are designed to be realistic alongside your riding schedule.
06
Designed to evolve with you
Your programme isn't a fixed document. Exercise programmes, recovery protocols, and rehabilitation plans are progressed and adapted as your body changes, your fitness improves, and your goals shift.
07
Empowerment through education
Knowledge is power. Beyond the programme itself, we want you to understand rider fitness, biomechanics, and your own body well enough to make informed decisions — for yourself and for your horse.
08
Community and connection
We're building a supportive, motivated community of riders who value self-care, growth, and continuous improvement — riders who cheer for each other, online and in the arena.
